TMT, PANCO member in Egypt, has highlighted the successful cooperation with Roner Logistics, PANCO member in Spain, following a time-critical export shipment that was scheduled to sail from Spain to Egypt.
After the cargo booking had been completed and the loading date confirmed, TMT was informed at the last moment that the assigned trucker would no longer be able to handle the movement of the equipment. With the vessel departure approaching and very limited time available, the shipment faced the risk of missing the sailing.
To resolve the situation, TMT immediately contacted Roner Logistics for local support in Spain. Despite the short notice, the Roner team responded quickly and arranged an alternative transportation solution. The team then coordinated the transfer and stuffing of the equipment inside the port within the required timeframe, allowing the shipment to meet the vessel cut-off.
According to TMT, Roner Logistics’ rapid response and coordination were instrumental in preventing a disruption to the shipment schedule and ensuring the equipment was loaded as planned.
