How we handle privacy and cookie choices

When you choose “Connect my Panco session”, the extension reads your existing session cookie at app.pancoworld.com and uses it to authenticate encrypted HTTPS requests to api.pancoworld.com. It does not ask for or collect your password. Panco receives the authentication token, searches, filters and preferred-agent changes needed to carry out your requests under your existing account permissions.

The information displayed can include your account and company context, company profiles, business contact details, registered holidays, news and a member payment-alert flag. Changes to shared preferred agents are saved to your company’s Panco account and can be seen by authorised colleagues.

The extension saves only its connection preference and selected Panco source in Chrome extension storage. It does not save passwords, session tokens, member records, contacts, news or searches there. Displayed records are held in memory and cleared when you disconnect, hide the panel or access checks fail. Navigation choices may remain in memory while the panel is loaded; your access is checked again before records are reloaded.

Account requests go to Panco’s API. Images may load from HTTPS hosts supplied by that API; their operators receive ordinary request information, such as your IP address, but the extension does not send them your Panco token or a page referrer. Email, telephone, WhatsApp, LinkedIn and website links open only when you select them and are then subject to the destination service’s privacy policy.

The extension does not read other websites or your browsing history and contains no advertising or analytics. Data obtained through Chrome’s APIs is used only to provide and secure the features described here, in accordance with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. It is not sold or used for advertising, unrelated profiling, creditworthiness or lending decisions. The website’s optional analytics and advertising described below do not apply inside the extension.

Use “Log out” in the panel to disconnect the extension. This leaves your Panco website session open. Uninstalling the extension does not delete your Panco account or shared preferred-agent changes saved in Panco. We use essential storage to remember your cookie choice and to support basic site functions. This is not used for advertising.

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the website. Analytics storage is denied by default, so Google Analytics does not set analytics cookies unless you accept this category.

If you accept, Google Analytics may set the _ga and _ga_<container-id> cookies to tell visits and sessions apart. They may remain for up to two years. Analytics consent does not automatically enable advertising or remarketing.

If you consent, we use Google Ads to measure campaign visits and membership enquiries, create audiences of interested visitors and show more relevant PANCO advertising on Google services. Google Ads may use advertising cookies and identifiers such as _gcl cookies for these purposes.

Consent Mode v2 sends your choice to Google through the ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization signals. If you decline, these signals remain denied: advertising cookies are not stored and your visit is not used for personalised remarketing. Google tags may still send limited cookieless consent and measurement signals.

If you consent to advertising cookies, we also load the OpenAI Pixel to measure completed membership enquiries, starting an application, continuing to WhatsApp and visits to the Freightcamp website. App downloads and QR codes are excluded from these conversions. OpenAI can use the first-party attribution cookie __oppref to connect these actions with ads shown in ChatGPT.

Automatic advanced matching is enabled for this Pixel. It can detect supported contact information entered on this website and normalise and hash it in your browser before sending it to OpenAI to match conversions. The events we configure do not include your message or contact details in plain text. We mark these conversion events to opt out of future user-level personalisation. You can change or withdraw advertising consent at any time in Cookie Settings.

Use the Cookie settings button on the website to change or withdraw your preference at any time. You can accept analytics without advertising, accept advertising without analytics, or choose necessary storage only.

Some pages load images, fonts or scripts from trusted third-party hosts. These services may receive technical information such as your IP address when your browser requests those files.
