VISY GLOBAL LOGISTICS, your Pangea partner in Singapore and also a partner in Australia, New Zealand, the United States, and Vietnam, managed the ocean movement of a large, high-value industrial compressor from the United Kingdom to Australia. Due to the cargo’s out-of-gauge dimensions, the shipment was carried in a 40-foot open-top container rather than a standard container.
Prior to loading, detailed planning and a comprehensive risk assessment were undertaken to ensure the safe handling of the high-value equipment. The compressor was lifted, positioned, and secured using certified lashing, blocking, and bracing arrangements designed to maintain stability throughout the voyage.
Backed by rigorous safety controls and close stakeholder coordination, the shipment was completed successfully, with the cargo delivered safely and efficiently and its integrity maintained from origin to destination.
