VERUS GLOBAL, your Pangea partner in China, was invited by Maersk to attend the Lithium Battery Transportation Safety GCA Customer Workshop in Guangzhou, China. The workshop aims to ensure safe and compliant lithium battery ocean operations through defined responsibilities, operational discipline, and clear communication.
VERUS GLOBAL, as one of the largest Maersk BSA NVOCCs loading over 300 FFE per week ex Greater China, specializes in handling IMO cargo, including lithium batteries. Participation in the workshop provided an opportunity to further strengthen its understanding of industry requirements and best practices for lithium battery transportation.
Following the workshop, VERUS GLOBAL was also invited to visit the Maersk Guangzhou office, providing an additional opportunity for engagement and exchange with the Maersk team.
This participation reflects VERUS GLOBAL’s commitment to the safe and compliant handling of lithium battery and other IMO cargo in line with industry requirements.
