SOULISTIC GROUP HERZ, your Pangea partner in Mexico, in coordination with its sister company Fisch&Fisch Mexico, has secured and successfully executed a Turn-Key logistics project for one of its main clients in the food industry through a competitive tender process. The project involved the door-to-door ground transportation of oversized industrial machinery across the Mexico–United States border.
The Turn-Key approach eliminated the need for the client to coordinate multiple vendors, covering all phases of the operation from project planning to final delivery. Initial activities included the preparation and encapsulation of the work area to prevent contamination within the food processing environment, followed by the specialized disassembly and dismantling of the machinery carried out by Fisch&Fisch Mexico. The cargo was then packed and consolidated into a 53-foot box trailer, with a Low Boy trailer used for the oversized wheel component.
The challenge was significant due to the scale and nature of the cargo. The shipment involved a Rotary Blowing Wheel for a Molding System (“MEGA 18 DP N2N wheel”), with the main component measuring 5.4 meters in length, 3.00 meters in width, and 3.97 meters in height. Transport was arranged from the client’s facility in Irapuato, Guanajuato, Mexico, to York, Pennsylvania, USA, with cross-border coordination and customs procedures managed through the Nuevo Laredo/Laredo, Texas corridor.
