ROTTERDAM OVERSEAS NETWORK, your Pangea partner in Thailand, in collaboration with VERUS GLOBAL, your Pangea partner in China, successfully managed a 1×40’ flat rack shipment of a prefabricated house from Nansha Port, China, to Laem Chabang Port, Thailand under DDP Incoterms.
The cargo, weighing 6,970 kg with dimensions of 11.50 m × 3.30 m × 3.45 m, departed Nansha on 3 May 2026 and arrived at Laem Chabang Port on 7 May 2026. Operations were coordinated across origin and destination, with VERUS GLOBAL handling port of loading activities and ROTTERDAM OVERSEAS managing destination-side execution in Thailand.
On 11 May 2026, ROTTERDAM OVERSEAS completed customs clearance at Laem Chabang Port. The shipment benefited from Form E under the ASEAN–China Free Trade Area, enabling import duty exemption and smooth clearance. Following clearance, the container was released and picked up from the port at around 8:00 p.m. the same day.
The shipment then proceeded on an overnight 300 km transport to Phetchaburi Province, completing delivery operations within a span of two days from customs clearance. On 12 May 2026, at around 8:00 a.m., the truck arrived on site under heavy rain. Due to muddy access roads preventing entry of the loaded trailer, a crane operation was carried out to transfer the prefabricated house onto a smaller truck for final delivery access.
Delivery operations were completed by 4:00 p.m. the same day. The consignee confirmed satisfaction with the final positioning of the prefabricated house at the designated location, marking successful end-to-end coordination led by ROTTERDAM OVERSEAS NETWORK.
