The event examined sustainability, cotton supply chains and market developments under the theme “Cotton - The Sustainable Fibre of the Future”.

The conference focused on the theme“Cotton - The Sustainable Fibre of the Future” and brought together a wide range of stakeholders from across the cotton value chain, including representatives from the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, the Cotton Association of India, the Confederation of Indian Textile Industry (CITI), cotton brokers, ginners, spinners and other industry participants.
A number of lifetime achievement awards were presented during the event, recognising long-standing contributions to the cotton sector. The conference programme also included business sessions covering cotton provenance, the future of spinning, Africa-India supply chain alignment, cotton futures markets, India's growing role in global cotton textiles, ginning developments and sustainable cotton initiatives.
