The device had to be collected at an hospital in Spain and transported to another hospital in UK. Initially export customs clearance was planned on the German branch of the customer. However, given the short period of time available for this transport, the customer could not fulfil some special requirements in Spain and finally the export clearance took place in France to speed the process. After the order was placed and confirmed, the Spanish surgeons requested **BLUE FREIGHT**'s customer to let the microscope stay in Spain for 3 more days in order to have it available for a second surgery to the same patient. **BLUE FREIGHT** team was then requested to re-work the logistics solution as the equipment was already booked by the hospital in UK. After some adjustments **BLUE FREIGHT** managed to postpone the pickup by 3 days and move this equipment from Spain to UK over the weekend, including customs clearance in France. **BLUE FREIGHT** driver also assisted with the loading and unloading procedures at both hospitals. _“This job was definitely one of the special ones. Not only because of our tough schedule that basically had no room left for exceptions - not even for rush hour traffic!
