Baxter Freight (UK) earns Committed Badge from EcoVadis for Sustainability Performance

PANCO member Baxter Freight in the UK has received a Committed Badge from EcoVadis, following an assessment of 21 sustainability criteria covering environmental performance, labour and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. The EcoVadis framework will support Baxter Freight’s environmental, social and governance improvement plans and its B Corp recertification journey.

Baxter Freight, the Nottingham based B Corp™ Certified logistics specialist, has announced that it has achieved a Committed Badge from EcoVadis, a global leader in business sustainability assessments.

The EcoVadis assessment evaluates 21 sustainability criteria across four key themes: Environmental, Labour & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. They provide independent and evidence-based analysis of environmental performance, and an actionable roadmap for continuous improvement aligned with international sustainability standards such as the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact, the International Labour Organization (ILO) conventions, the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standards and the ISO 26000.

Baxter Freight's Associate Director of Innovation and Sustainability, Tom Isler, said: "We’re incredibly proud to have achieved the EcoVadis Committed badge which recognises our ongoing commitment to sustainability, responsible business practices, and continuous improvement.

"Using the EcoVadis framework as a roadmap, we’ll continue to drive measurable progress across our environmental, social and governance initiatives. Our ambition is to improve year on year and work towards achieving the EcoVadis Platinum medal within the next three years, alongside our B Corp recertification journey. Together, these frameworks will help hold us accountable, drive continuous improvement, and ensure we create meaningful value for our people, customers, suppliers and wider community in line with our mission and future business plans."
