TRANSALTIC (Argentina) ensures Safe Delivery of Over 4-Ton AW169 Helicopter in Argentina

TRANSALTIC, your Pangea partner in Argentina, has successfully completed the specialized ground transportation of a civil-use helicopter, model AW169 (S/N 69181), imported from Italy to Argentina via Antwerp, Belgium.

With a total gross weight of over 4 tons, the helicopter and its components required precise planning and careful handling to ensure safe delivery throughout the journey.

The journey began in Antwerp, where the helicopter was loaded onto a RO-RO vessel for maritime transport to the Port of Zárate, Argentina. Along with the main unit, the shipment included carefully packed spare parts and tools, ensuring secure handling throughout the operation.

The shipment included:

  • 1×40 MAFI – 3,321 KGS / 166.5 CBM

  • 1×20 BOLSTER – 1,496 KGS / 14.366 CBM

  • Total: 12 PCS, Gross Weight 4,817 KGS

Upon arrival at the Port of Zárate, TRANSALTIC managed the ground transportation from the port to the client’s warehouse, handling every component with precision even under challenging weather conditions

The images from the operation highlight key moments, including the helicopter securely mounted on a low-bed trailer, specialized lifting operations for crated equipment, and the final placement among other port container cargo.

This project demonstrates TRANSALTIC‘s expertise in managing complex, oversized, and high-value shipments, reinforcing the company’s capability to provide safe, reliable, and efficient logistics solutions tailored to the aerospace sector.
