POLIMEX FORWARDING, your Pangea partner in Canada, has been recognized for its humanitarian support to flood victims in Poland, receiving the Excellence in Charitable Initiatives 2025 Award from the Canada-Poland Chamber of Commerce during its annual Excellence Awards Gala.

In 2024, severe floods in Poland caused widespread destruction, displacing thousands of people and claiming several lives. Towns such as Kłodzko, Lewin Brzeski, Lądek Zdrój, and Stronie Śląskie were heavily affected, leaving many without homes, businesses, and essential goods.
In response, POLIMEX FORWARDING worked together with partner organizations, nine Polish parishes, and numerous volunteers to collect over 20,000 kilograms of relief supplies, equivalent to two full containers that were shipped to Poland. The goods were distributed locally by charity organizations Lions Club Gdańsk-1 and Fundacja Kubek Wody to those in need.
The Canada-Poland Chamber of Commerce recognized POLIMEX at the gala, which honored outstanding achievements in nine categories. The event also highlighted collaboration within the Polish-Canadian community and connections with European and international business leaders.
Distinguished guests included Ontario Premier Doug Ford, Minister of Infrastructure Kinga Surma, Minister of Long-Term Care Natalia Kusendova-Bashta, Ontario Liberal Leader Bonnie Crombie, Polish Ambassador to Canada Witold Dzielski, and Consul Piotr Frelak.
Commenting on the award, Kris Manitius of POLIMEX said:
“We, at Polimex, feel it is very important to give back to our community and honor our society by connecting us here in Canada to those who are back in Poland and are in need.”
