PLASCOW LOGISTICS, your Pangea partner in Israel, proudly shares the successful completion of a time-critical logistics project for one of their VIP clients, a specialist in civilian vehicle armoring, made possible through close collaboration with fellow Pangea partner. Together, the partners delivered 20 tons of armored glass from Israel to Poland, despite the temporary closure of Israeli airspace in mid-June 2025.
The closure stopped the Israeli airfreight industry for over two weeks. During this period, Israel was almost isolated from international air cargo movements, severely impacting supply chains. The shipment was urgently required for protective installation on civilian vehicles in Poland, and the project could not be delayed under any circumstance.
To ensure timely execution, the teams arranged a seamless multimodal transport plan. The cargo was first trucked from northern Israel to the Jordanian border, where it was transferred to Jordanian carriers for onward delivery to Amman International Airport. From there, the armored glass was flown to Warsaw, Poland, with PLASCOW also managing DDP service all the way to the end customer.
One of the most critical hurdles involved the delivery of original customs documents required for clearance in Poland. With courier services facing extensive delays, PLASCOW LOGISTICS swiftly arranged for an onboard courier, a team member personally flew with the documents to ensure they arrived by July 1st, well before the deadline.
This complex cross-border operation required tight coordination with trucking partners, border and customs authorities, and airlines across Israel, Jordan, and Poland. PLASCOW project logistics department ensured every element was handled with precision.
