PT ANDALAN DAYA ABADI, your Pangea partner in Indonesia, has once again entrusted CLARION SHIPPING SERVICES, your Pangea partner in the UAE, with a major project cargo shipment, reinforcing their ongoing collaboration within the Pangea network. The project involved the transport of used cementing machine units and other equipment in 3 × 40’ flat rack (FR) out-of-gauge (OOG) units under EXW terms, shipped from Jebel Ali, UAE, to Jakarta, Indonesia, with a total transit time of 18 days.
The cargo included a Twin Pump Trailer Mounted Cementing Unit, two 150 BBL Batch Mixers, a Water Transfer Pump, an Air Compressor with Air Tank, and a 2” 1502 Pipe. Dimensions measured 11.4 × 2.76 × 4.2 m for one unit and 8.8 × 2.95 × 3.95 m for the remaining two units.
At origin, CLARION, nominated by PT ANDALAN, handled trucking, export procedures, customs clearance, and ocean freight. The operation faced challenges, including equipment shortages during flat rack collection. CLARION’s team stayed on-site until midnight, coordinating with the shipping line and DP World representatives to ensure timely release. Additional delays during loading, caused by crane availability and lighting arrangements from the shipper, were resolved through coordination, completing the operation without affecting the schedule.
At the destination, PT ANDALAN managed import approval permits, customs clearance, delivery, and billing of all charges to the consignee.
