The project, led by the company’s Salta office, has become a milestone in the sector due to its scale, complexity, and the extreme conditions under which it was carried out. The operation required over 200 trucks, including numerous oversized vehicles, organized in indivisible convoys. Each production line was transported as a fully assembled set, requiring up to 38 trucks to unload simultaneously at the port. The route presented several challenges, including heavy snowfall at Paso de Jama and a tsunami alert on the Pacific coast. Despite these conditions, the cargo was moved within six weeks, avoiding extra costs related to storage, demurrage, and truck standby.
