# PEKAES (Poland) receives ISOQAR certify for the highest standards of safety

The certificate represents a guarantee that the Błonie Branch of **PEKAES** operates effectively and that its transport processes conforms to the global standards for safety in domestic and international full truckload forwarding. ISO 28000:2007 concerns the supply chain security management system. The standard helps logistics companies, manufacturers and service providers in minimising the risk of incidents that could affect the services they provide. The related risk is assessed, and the assessment is used to take suitable measures in order to ensure the continuity of business and the safety of the services provided by **PEKAES**. **PEKAES** received the ISO 28000:2007 certificate in May 2018, after a two-stage certification audit. During the first stage, the certification body, ISOQAR CEE, examined the documentation and the functioning of the company’s entire management system. The second audit was conducted in May 2020, resulting in the recommendation of ISOQAR CEE to maintain the ISO 28000:2007 certificate of **PEKAES**. _“We are one of the few companies in this business to boast a certificate issued by ISOQAR – an international body. Thanks to the certification of our supply chain security management system, our clients can rest assured that our business operates in accordance with relevant global standards. The security of supply is definitely our priority”_ says Paweł Polnik, Quality and Safety Director of **PEKAES**. ISOQAR CEE in Poland was established towards the end of 2003. It is a representative of the UK certification body: Alcumus ISOQAR Ltd. Worldwide. ISOQAR is an independent certification body competent to conduct third-party audits of management systems. The policy of ISOQAR focuses on the certification of quality, supply chain security, food safety, environment, energy, OHS and information security management systems.
