All pre-alerts should be fully reviewed prior to sending to us to ensure the information is true and accurate. The information contained in all shipping documents must not only be true and accurate, it must also be consistent across all documents. In other words, description of\r\ngoods, weights and quantities must be the same across all documents and bill of lading. A clear and accurate description of the goods must also be provided. Customs will no longer accept vague descriptions for commodities.\r\n\r\n\u003Cstrong>What are the consequences for not filing or improper filing of the eManifest?\u003C\u002Fstrong>\r\nEffective January 31st 2022, the CBSA will be enforcing eManifest rules and monetary penalties will be assessed for non-compliance.
