Ronco y Cia**, your Pangea partner in Spain, has a strong trajectory and knowledge in the transport of fresh fruits and vegetables. As they explained in the *"Food & Perishables Logistics"* webinar during the last Freightcamp, where they shared their experience in the custom clearance of this type of commodity. With the exit of the UK from the EU, they saw an opportunity to start a specialised service for custom clearance for that destination, and in fact **J. Ronco** has already handled the clearance of over 5.000 operations of export and import to and from the UK and recruited 4 new staff members to complete their new "UK team". They specialise in fresh goods, but also handle clearance of industrial commodity. The company mainly handles export of fresh goods being transported by road, with nearly 48.000 tons of fresh fruit and vegetables cleared since the beginning of the year. **J. Ronco** has opened a new office in the port of Santander, mainly to assist the haulier with their formalities before sailing to Portsmouth. They also receive goods from the UK through that port and also Bilbao; clearance being done on the day of arrival (Saturday included), after passing through Border Control Post. With over 7.000 trucks crossing to/from Dover every day, **J. Ronco** can assist for the entrance to Europe of goods to any EU country. Various custom formalities options can be considered, depending on the commodity. Although this is not their main goal, **J. Ronco** can also offer refrigerated road transport to and from the UK, mainly as FTL.
