# MARINAIR CARGO (Greece) manages Out-of-Gauge Mobile Crane Operation at the Port of Piraeus

**MARINAIR CARGO**, your Pangea partner in Greece, recently managed the discharge and controlled handling of an oversized mobile crane shipped on a flat rack into the Port of Piraeus.

The scope covered coordination from vessel arrival through to safe handover for onward inland transport. Given the out-of-gauge dimensions, the operation required structured sequencing under standard port constraints, including terminal time-window alignment, controlled lifting and positioning, preparation of release-ready documentation, and clear, real-time communication across all stakeholders.

All stages were carried out under direct operational supervision to ensure compliance with port procedures and lifting requirements. As with oversized cargo, the focus remained on planning accuracy, process control, and risk management.
