This became applicable for any movements in Melbourne on or after April 3rd and Sydney on or after April 17th 2017. DP World is one of the two major stevedores operating wharf terminals and associated infrastructure in Melbourne and Sydney.\r\n\r\nNow Patrick Terminals has released a notice advising of the introduction of an Infrastructure Surcharge and Ancillary Charges Fee - effective 10 July 2017\r\n\r\nThe rates of surcharges will be as follows:·\r\n\r\nSydney $25.45 per box\r\nFremantle $4.76 per box\r\nFisherman Islands (Brisbane) $32.55 per box\r\nEast Swanson Dock $32 per box\r\n\r\nThe infrastructure surcharge will be applied to both road and rail transport operators for all full container movements, both import and export.\r\n\r\nPatrick has justified the need for the charge based on rent, land tax and council rate increases.\r\n\r\nPatrick has also stated that they are incurring rising terminal infrastructure maintenance costs relating to the landside interface operations and will use the surcharge as their cost recovery mechanism.\r\n\r\nPls. contact FJT Logistics for further information\r\n\r\n\u003Cimg class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2905\" src=\"https:\u002F\u002Fcdn.pangea-network.com\u002F2016\u002F04\u002FFJT-LOGISTICS_LOGO-2.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"77\" height=\"120\" \u002F>","PANCO Group",[],[],[],[],[28,29],"en","es"]
