It recognises businesses with a secure supply chain and compliant trade practices, rewarding accredited businesses with a range of trade facilitation benefits.\r\n\r\nAustralian Trusted Trader is an Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) programme. AEOs work to secure the international supply chain, while facilitating the movement of legitimate trade.\r\n\r\nFrom today, the Australian Trusted Trader (ATT) programme is open to all Australian businesses that are active in the international supply chain. Eligible businesses can now submit an expression of interest to become a Trusted Trader via the \u003Ca href=\"http:\u002F\u002Fwww.border.gov.au\u002FBusi\u002FTrus\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Australian Trusted Trader website.\u003C\u002Fa>\r\n\r\nBusinesses must have an Australian Business Number, two years of trading history and be financially solvent.\r\n\r\nThe programme is free to join and businesses are not required to use a consultant to complete any part of the application process.
