# Artwork shipment handled by MIREMAR (Uruguay)

MIREMAR was appointed by a US art collector for the logistics and transportation of artwork acquired in Uruguay. ![](https://cdn.pangea-network.com/2017/03/MIREMAR-URUGUAY.jpg) MIREMAR was in charge of the picking up, custody in warehouse, fumigation, preparation and packaging of all items. The artwork required special documentation procedures, since they related to a deceased artist and needed authorization and certification by the national authorities of Patrimony. Additionally, 2 of the items were originally from Mianmar. Also, the customs and air freight exportation was arranged by MIREMAR.
